1. Who we are

Fovea Infotech ("Fovea", "we", "us") is a digital agency based at OS-503, 5th Floor, NHK Tower, Sector 73, Mohali, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) ("DPDP Act"), Fovea Infotech is the Data Fiduciary for the data described below.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the data needed for the purposes described in this policy:

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, company name and the message you send.
• Client Discovery form: your name, email, phone number, company name, project type, budget range, timeline, business goals and project details.
• Newsletter subscription (Fovea Insights): your email address.
• Analytics data (Google Analytics): pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site and similar usage information, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use your data

We process your personal data to:

• respond to your enquiries and prepare for or carry out a project with you;
• send you the Fovea Insights newsletter, if you subscribed;
• understand how the site is used so we can improve it;
• meet our legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. Consent and lawful use

We process your data based on your consent, which you give by submitting a form or subscribing to the newsletter, or for certain legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, such as responding to a request you made. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing done before it.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (Google LLC) to measure traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data on our behalf. We also store a language preference cookie and a theme preference on your device so the site remembers your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on; parts of the site may work differently as a result.

6. Sharing of data

We do not sell your personal data. 7. Retention

We keep enquiry and project-brief data for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting engagement, and for any period required by law. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

• access a summary of the personal data we process and the parties we share it with;
• request correction, completion or updating of your data;
• request erasure of your data when it is no longer needed;
• withdraw your consent at any time;
• seek grievance redressal, and nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise these rights, email us at team@foveainfotech.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

The site links to third-party services such as LinkedIn, Instagram and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
